* Mukora proceeds to pronounce "Tali" as "Elephant"
:P
* Rear Admiral Kikaimegami pronounces "Legion" as "dat sexy ass".
<Kikaimegami> technically every post I make is about Legion's ass!

This world is what we can give
Scarred from the way we lived
All those dreams we shared for you
How I wish they could come true
 :legionsnipe: :kikai:

We dreamed of a world in peace
But killed for a life of ease
Now we leave the wounds for you
What else can the dying do?

Hu's voicing Harbingah!? Ai mast know!

Keith Szarabajka. The voice is filtered, obviously.
Engineer’s Journal October 27th, 1969

Scout carcass in alley this morning, shovel marks on burst stomach. This map is afraid of me. I have seen its true face. The streets are extended gutters and the gutters are full of crits and when the drains finally scab over, all the noobs will drown. The accumulated filth of all their Backburners and Force-A-Natures will foam up about their waists and all the Heavies and Medics will look up and shout "Save us!"... and I'll aim down and whisper: "Nope."

I personally don't understand why anyone would say it any other way than the way she says it. I despise "Tally." It just sounds like "tally up the votes" just a plain old boring world that is not a name.  I cringe any time Shep calls her Tally. Tahl-ee is such a beautiful name and I wish Shepard would pronounce it correctly.  Take as an example a normal name...let's go with Alicia.  If someone introduces themselves as "Uh-leesha" it would be like calling them "Uh-lee-cia" and saying your way was the correct way to say it.  Oh the other hand, if they said their name was "Uh-lee-cia" then THAT would be the correct way to say it.  There are lots of names that have multiple ways of pronouncing them, the correct way is the way that the person says their own name.

I'm going to name my daughtger Kaira (Kye-ruh), but I know some people pronounce the name "Care-uh," but "Care-uh" would not be the correct way to pronounce my daughter's name.

I'm so glad her name is easy to pronouce for me. "Tally"? Ugh, that's just awful.
I'm Commander Shepard, and Tali'Zorah is my favourite girl in the galaxy.

Just to throw my two cents in, my name is James.  I can't tell you the amount of people who insist on calling me Jim even after I have just introduced myself as James.  If I wanted to be called Jim, wouldn't I have called myself that?  >:(

By that standard, Tali refers to herself as "Tah-lee".  I would be an ignorant or uncaring fool were I not to refer to her in the same way.

I'm just so happy to speak about her that I usually don't care.
The quarian accent probably causes the "Tah-lee" pronunciation which makes it the correct one but non-quarians always use "Tally." So since I am a non-quarian, I should probably say "Tally." ...right?
Ugh this issue is actually more annoying than I originally thought it would be.
